Checking out her single and video for “All Mine,” Billboard dance chart-topper Nikkole clearly understands all the assignments when it comes to making music that moves and visuals that spellbind.
“All Mine” feels like a whole weekend gliding on roller skates in the warm sun. This lead release from her forthcoming, epic double-album Vulnerable finds Nikkole and superproducer Leon Sylvers adding more pops of soul and deeper grooves to the Creole-American singer-songwriter’s music palette.
Sonically, we hear Nikkole drawing more from her R&B roots without sacrificing the bounce and tight rhythms her Dance fans love. We hear it in her melodies. We hear it in her crystal clear vocal tones and improvisational leanings. And just when some artists might begin to get in their own way, rather than give key parts of songs some space? Nikkole knows how to let a hot tune breathe, the beat ride—and give us some stellar live chops to look forward to when she hits the stage.
Visually, we find Nikkole bathed in warm-tone orange, pink and purple desert sunsets in the “All Mine” video. Cameras love Nikkole though she doesn’t lead with her otherworldly beauty. This video captures a depth in her eyes and a smoldering presence, dripping with organic seduction.
