Beverly Hills, California — Some of the most impactful members of the music industry community got their kudos this 2019 Grammy Awards season on the morning of music’s biggest night at the hot-ticket Music & Memories Pre-Grammy Brunch fundraiser. Spearheaded by Grammy-winning music producer and songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox and production partner Angela Mack, the annual event benefits non-profit Music and Memories—an organization which brings personalized music into the lives of the elderly and markedly improves one’s quality of life—and celebrates recording business icons and influencers making positive strides across the creative community. Among honorees for this year’s 15th installment are Jeff Robinson (Executive Producer/MBK “My Brother’s Keeper” Entertainment, Karen Civil (Marketing Maven/Entrepreneur) and J. Prince (CEO of Rap-a-Lot Records/Author).

No newbie to community service, Louisiana native Diaz is recognized for her efforts to help rebuild homes hit by Hurricane Katrina in her home state, and returned to New Orleans with her HLN camera crew in tow in 2015 to mark the tenth anniversary of the deadly hurricane. Paul Wall, Robert Glasper, Joe, Raheem DeVaughn and more were on deck for the pre-Grammy brunch. Cricket Wireless, Ciroc, and Toyota are among its key sponsors.
